Nana

The story of Allassane Nana, born in 2007, is the tale of a calling that crosses the sea. Having left the Ivory Coast at a very young age with a dream of playing football, Nana faced a two-year journey alone to arrive in Basilicata. Today, that natural talent has led him to the AZ Picerno youth team (Primavera), but his true victory lies off the field.

As a guest of a reception center in Muro Lucano, Allassane quickly understood that the ball could not be his only compass. With rare maturity, he invested in his education, continuing his studies at the “Einstein” Institute and balancing school with training sessions. Nana is building solid independence, demonstrating a sense of responsibility that goes beyond his years. He is not just a young prospect of Basilicata football; he is a young man who has chosen to inhabit his own future with discipline and respect, transforming reception into a real opportunity for citizenship. His race is no longer about escaping, but about winning the space to decide, in total autonomy, who to become.
