Oltre il ghetto – Storie di libertà” is the competition held as a part of the project Su.Pr.Eme. Italia, aimed at the organizations of the public and private social sector that fight against illegal hiring in Apulia, Campania, Calabria, Basilicata and Sicily. The project was created to collect, disseminate and reward stories of migrant people escaping exploitation in agriculture.
The Su.Pr.Eme. Italia program (the South being the Protagonist in the overcoming of Emergencies in the context of serious exploitation and marginalization of the foreigners regularly present in the 5 least developed regions) is funded under the AMIF – Emergency Funds (AP2019) of the European Commission – DG Migration and Home Affairs.
The partnership is led by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies – Directorate General for the Immigration (Lead partner), assisted by the Apulia region (Coordinating Partner), together with the regions Basilicata, Calabria, Campania and Sicily, and the State Labor Inspectorate, the International Organization for Migration and Nova national consortium for social innovation.
